Job summary

Health Research, Inc. seeks an Assistant Research Scientist to support the LOAC Laboratory’s chemical terrorism and public health emergency program. The role involves analyzing clinical samples for trace organic chemicals using LC/MS and GC/MS, maintaining documentation, and preparing QC samples and SOPs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) in a relevant field and compliance with federal clinical testing requirements. Travel up to 10% and full onsite work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Education must meet federal requirements for staff performing clinical testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing clinical samples for organic chemicals using LC/MS/GC/MS.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and prepare QC samples.
• Process data and assist with reports and SOPs.
• Assist with other related duties as needed.
