PML seeks an Laboratory Analytical Chemist to apply validated methods using UHPLC, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, GC-MSD, and qPCR. The role focuses on GLP/EH&S compliance, data integrity, and method development in a collaborative team setting.

The candidate will maintain procedures, generate precise data, and continually improve analytical techniques while ensuring quality control and regulatory adherence across all projects.

Qualificações

• Experience operating GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, UHPLC, ICP-MS, and qPCR. Preference for ICP-MS.
• 2–3 years of experience in an analytical chemistry testing laboratory.
• Experience with LIMS and SQL databases.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong QA/QC discipline to ensure accurate results and traceable records.
• Attention to detail in maintaining laboratory records and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with other team members.
• Master’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, material chemistry or related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Perform analytical testing of plant samples and plant-derived products in a fast-paced laboratory.
• Generate high-quality data and maintain precise laboratory records.
• Ensure analytical instruments are properly maintained and calibrated per internal procedures.
• Develop and improve analytical techniques; research and apply new methods to stay current with target analytes.
• Communicate and present data summaries and laboratory needs.
• Update and write SOPs.
• Independently analyze and troubleshoot instrument/method issues.
• Maintain an organized laboratory and comply with QA/QC systems and regulations.
