Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking an Analytical Chemist for a product manufacturing company south of Naperville, IL. Responsibilities include testing raw materials and in-process batches to ensure quality using GC, HPLC, IR, and other lab equipment.

The candidate should be analytical, organized, and collaborative with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related field and at least 2 years of industry lab experience in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of industry lab experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience with GC, HPLC, and IR instrumentation is preferred.
• Experience analyzing data and preparing technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials according to established procedures and specifications.
• Test in-process production batches and report out-of-spec results to teams.
• Assist in identifying solutions for batches not meeting quality standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (GC, HPLC, IR).
• Perform routine instrument calibration to ensure accurate results.
• Support development and improvement of testing methods and documentation.
• Analyze data and prepare clear reports.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and other departments to resolve issues.
