Job summary

NEPHRON SC, LLC in Texas is seeking a QC Chemist to support quality control testing and R&D activities. You will conduct laboratory testing for raw materials, in-process materials, finished product, and stability samples in accordance with approved analytical methods.

Responsibilities include performing routine and complex analyses using HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, FT-IR, and other techniques, ensuring cGMP compliance, reviewing notebooks, data entry, and mentoring junior chemists as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry required with 2–5 years of pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Experience with FT-IR, UV/Vis spectroscopy and wet chemistry techniques required.
• Highly skilled in HPLC, GC and ICP testing with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory testing for raw materials and finished products per analytical methods.
• Analyze data and interpret results, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Peer review notebooks and verify raw data for sample release.
• Enter data and release forms accurately in reporting systems.
• Mentor and train chemists to support laboratory operations.
• Support investigation documentation and root cause analysis as needed.
