Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Scientist II to develop and implement analytical procedures for APIs, including potent compounds. The role focuses on chromatography (HPLC/UPLC, GC, IC), spectroscopy (NMR, ICP-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis) and physical properties, on-site at Devens, MA.

The successful candidate will perform sample analyses, contribute to method development and validation, and prepare detailed documentation while ensuring cGMP compliance and EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Analytical chemistry or MS with relevant experience in analytical development within pharmaceutical industry in cGMP environment.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, UV, KF, FTIR.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample analysis, interprets results, and reports data. Documents all analyses per SOPs.
• Assists with method development, validation/transfer activities, drafts reports and protocols.
• Prepares high quality written documentation (notebook entries, summaries, SOPs, procedures).
• Troubleshoots analytical instrumentation and communicates results clearly.
• Works in compliance with cGMP, EH&S, and regulatory standards.
• Contributes to a safe, collaborative work environment.
