Job summary

International Vitamin Corporation is seeking a Chemist II to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples in a FDA-controlled environment. The role involves method development support, training of new hires, and collaboration across departments.

The candidate will use instruments such as HPLC, GC, and ICP/ICPMS, follow cGMPs and SOPs, and manage routine maintenance and data interpretation while maintaining a clean, audit-ready lab.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in a cGMP environment.
• Knowledge of cGMPs, cGLPs, SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Performs chemical testing of incoming materials, finished product, and stability samples using HPLC, GC, ICP/ICPMS.
• Follow cGMPs, cGLPs, Compendia, and SOPs.
• Perform general lab duties: replenish reagents, clean lab, wash glassware.
• Maintain calibration verifications of equipment.
• Support other departments on special projects as needed.
• Gather, interpret, and review analytical data.
• Maintain audit-ready lab areas; train others on instruments/techniques.
• Assist in troubleshooting.
• Conduct investigations of out-of-spec results.
• Assist in SOP updates.
