Job summary

OMIC USA INC. in Portland, Oregon seeks Analytical Chemists (Chemist 2/3) to join the Inorganic Chemistry team. You will perform ICP, MS, QQQ analyses, develop and optimize methods, ensure compliant data packages, and support QA/QC under the Group Leader.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in ICP-MS/ICP-QQQ, MS data analysis, and experience in an ISO 17025 lab. Strong Excel, MS Office, and documentation skills are expected. This role offers growth in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related hard science from a four-year college or university.
• 3+ years (Chemist 2) and 5+ years (Chemist 3) in AA, ICP-MS, ICP-QQQ instrumentation and data reporting.
• Experience with MS and QQQ data acquisition, and analytical method development.
• Experience in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory environment and international business exposure.

Responsibilities

• Operate ICP and related detectors (MS, QQQ) and support instrumentation maintenance.
• Choose sample introduction techniques for ICP-MS/QQQ and run analyses.
• Review and report test results with QA/QC data and SOP compliance.
• Perform data review, data package preparation, and ensure ISO 17025 consistency.
• Assist with method development and process improvements under supervision.
