Job summary

Abbott Nutrition is seeking a Lab Analyst at the Columbus, Ohio plant to perform analytical testing across in-process and finished products, focusing on vitamin analysis and method validation. You will work with HPLC, ELISA, ICP-OES, and GC techniques to ensure product quality.

The role involves sample preparation, instrument troubleshooting, calibration documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of college science studies.
• Experience with lab analysis methods including HPLC, ELISA, and mineral testing is preferred.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing for in-process and finished product analyses.
• Conduct vitamin analysis and related assays using HPLC, ELISA, GC, and ICP-OES.
• Prepare samples, troubleshoot instruments, and maintain calibration records.
• Assist in non-conformance investigations and document results.
• Train new hires on lab methods and safety procedures.
• Support shift operations and communicate instrument issues to the team.
