Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Chemist to support testing of raw materials and finished pharmaceutical and biological products in Lincoln, NE. You will follow established test procedures using analytical instruments and ensure adherence to FDA and EU guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years in analytical chemistry labs, hands-on wet chemistry with HPLC/GC/UV-Vis/FTIR, and familiarity with LIMS and CDAS. Onsite work with full collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an analytical chemistry testing laboratory.
• Experience with wet chemistry testing and instrumentation including HPLC, GC, Polarimeter, UV/Vis, and FTIR.
• Familiarity with Word and Excel; operational experience with Waters Empower data acquisition preferred.
• Working knowledge of the US and European pharmacopeia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 2+ years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of human error awareness/prevention and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of raw materials and finished products using analytical instrumentation.
• Utilize CDAS and LIMS.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, CGMPs, Company Quality Standards, and FDA/EU Guidelines.
• Adhere to testing schedules to maintain high work volume without compromising result integrity.
• Communicate effectively with lead analysts and colleagues.
