Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Chemist for a Bronx, NY site to perform analytical testing supporting quality and compliance for raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples. The role includes preparing solutions, operating instruments, and supporting manufacturing needs.

The candidate will work with SAP, LES, Empower, and FTIR/Malvern tech, ensuring cGMP standards and timely data reporting. Collaboration with teammates and problem-solving are essential in this fast-paced lab

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a scientific discipline required; 1–2 years GMP/FDA-regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
AS degree with relevant coursework and at least five years in a regulated environment also acceptable.

Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing on materials and products in accordance with cGMP requirements.
Prepare solutions and reagents for laboratory testing.
Operate and support analytical instruments (HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR) and maintain related systems.
Participate in investigations and support audits; communicate results to colleagues and supervisors.
Use SAP, Empower, and other systems; apply sound judgment to resolve routine issues.
