Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Madison, WI invites a full-time candidate to join our Food Chemistry team. You will apply GMP/GLP principles, perform routine analyses under approved methods, and maintain thorough study documentation in a collaborative lab setting.

The ideal applicant holds a Bachelor’s degree, is able to work independently or with a team, and is comfortable with potentially hazardous materials and PPE requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (lab experience may substitute).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• May work with potentially hazardous materials.
• Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.
• Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) required.

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Learns to conduct routine analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Learns how to document work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records
• Learns how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks
• Attends and participates in project meetings
• Learns to perform peer review of data
• Learns to plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments
• Contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude; plans workload with team members
• Performs other related duties as assigned
