Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Foundational understanding of general scientific principles.
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art analytical tools and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; team oriented.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze materials for the U.S. Army and support R&D and production objectives.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and researchers to support projects.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment for material testing.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and chemicals for testing.
• Develop SOPs for safe operation of laboratory testing.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data; document observations and results.
• Assist with preparing technical reports, posters, and protocols.
• Conduct literature searches related to laboratory practices.
