You will support battery manufacturing, product development, quality investigations, and advanced electrification programs with rigorous testing and method development.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to generate high-quality data, communicate findings, and drive solutions for battery-related challenges.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 2+ years of practical experience with chemical, electrochemical, and/or battery cell standard testing.

• Perform hands-on analysis of automotive and battery materials using standard and custom test methods.
• Maintain analytical instrumentation, ensuring functional readiness through preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Author comprehensive reports detailing analytical results and findings.
• Establish timelines and project plans to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Consult with cross-functional technical teams as a subject matter expert in chemical measurement.
• Apply data-driven problem-solving skills to analyze, diagnose, and recommend solutions based on lab test data.
• Adapt to changing project scopes and manage ambiguity effectively.
• Evaluate and implement emerging analytical methods and technologies to improve characterization capabilities and laboratory efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to General Motors safety practices and laboratory protocols.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
