Qualifications

• Experience with analytic notebooks using Python and Jupyter or similar environments.
• Proficient with Spark/PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy or similar analysis tools.
• Background in data analytics, data science, software development, or related technical discipline.
• Ability to investigate problems and develop solutions independently.
• Strong communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
• Experience documenting technical solutions, code, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance analytic notebooks supporting mission requirements.
• Build data analysis and processing capabilities using Python, Spark/PySpark, SQL.
• Work with large datasets to support analytical use cases.
• Troubleshoot notebook issues as first-line support for users.
• Collaborate with users to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Assist users with notebook functionality, data access, and query development.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and apply data science techniques.
• Develop reusable code and analytic components to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot performance, processing, and integration issues.
• Maintain clear documentation for notebooks, data sources, and workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools and automate processes.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of notebook capabilities.
