Job summary

McKesson Canada Data & Analytics Hub is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data & Analytics to partner with the business and ensure advanced analytics and intelligence across performance, competition, and financial planning. You will lead data integration, modeling and quality within the team.

You will collaborate across Marketing & Commercial Operations, define data standards and governance, and apply SQL, Python, R and DAX to deliver trusted analytics for McKesson Canada.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data and Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (CTEs, window functions and joins), Python, R and DAX.
• Knowledge and experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Salesforce and SAP.
• ETL / Data Warehousing understanding.
• Hands on experience with Power BI.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with different levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert in BI programming languages (SQL, R, Python, DAX) supporting Marketing and Commercial Operations.
• Work with BI Analysts and stakeholders to gather data needs and develop a data model.
• Develop and maintain multiple data models, data flows, and data sets for internal teams.
• Define processes, standards, and guidelines for data models and data flows.
• Participate in Enterprise Data Governance as a Data Steward to document critical data elements.
• Act as primary contact between the Spoke and Canada Data & Analytics Hub.
• Support consolidating and prioritizing requests from the Spoke to the Hub.
• Advise on Data & Analytics decisions and initiatives and contribute to data strategy.
• Support Data & Analytics initiatives by validating data sources, calculations, and outputs.
• Disseminate information between the Hub and the Spoke.
