Summary

The Analyst - Savannah VPC Operations Support position is responsible for monitoring and reporting operational performance, production throughput, and KPI achievement across vehicle processing activities; coordinating vehicle inventory, PIO/PDI, and campaign management activities; supporting vehicle logistics and distribution operations; and driving operational communication, vendor coordination, and process improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical, reporting, inventory management, logistics coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced automotive operations environment.

Compensation

$50,000-$60,000/Year

Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily vehicle processing performance and production volumes, ensuring operational targets and customer requirements are achieved.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to evaluate KPI attainment, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Generate, validate, and distribute daily operational reports and performance summaries for management review and decision-making.
  • Track monthly Money Gate performance and maintain accurate reporting of progress against established objectives and milestones.
  • Coordinate and monitor Heavy PIO and Quick PIO activity, ensuring installation volumes, efficiency, and completion targets are achieved.
  • Manage campaign tracking activities by monitoring repair progress, escalating delays, and ensuring timely completion of required vehicle actions.
  • Monitor vehicle damage units to ensure repair orders are opened promptly, repairs are completed timely, and vehicle disposition is accurately updated.
  • Confirm PDI completion and readiness status for specialty vehicles, including fleet vehicles, VIP units, auto show vehicles, and other special program units.
  • Maintain PIO inventory accuracy and coordinate inventory requirements to support uninterrupted production and processing activities.
  • Ensure decommitted and reallocated vehicles are updated accurately within operational systems, including required PIO status modifications.
  • Develop and maintain operational forecasts to support railcar demand planning, equipment availability, and shipment execution requirements.
  • Coordinate daily operational priorities with contracted vendors, providing direction and follow-up to ensure service, quality, and productivity expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with Vehicle Logistics personnel to monitor vehicle movement status, shipping readiness, and delivery performance, ensuring timely communication of operational issues and shipment delays.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, inventory control, and overall customer service performance.
  • Provide reporting and analytical support for TPS, Operations Performance, Wholesale reporting, and other operational functions as required to ensure continuity of operations.

Support Activities
  • Support Vehicle Logistics personnel by expediting priority vehicle requests to facilitate carrier load optimization and customer delivery requirements.(Supports Area C)
  • Assist with VCRM-related issue resolution and coordinate follow-up actions with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.(Supports Areas B, D)
  • Coordinate with rail and trucking partners on rail-to-truck and truck-to-rail conversions while monitoring shipment progress and communicating status updates.(Supports Area C)
  • Assist with bay tag, Monroney label, and missing PIO resolution activities to support vehicle shipment readiness.(Supports Areas B, C)
  • Provide delivery status updates and shipment information to KUS, HMA, and other customers as requested.(Supports Areas C, D)
Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and verbal/written communication skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle processing, inventory control, and operational reporting practices.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret operational performance data.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing, vehicle processing, or finished vehicle logistics operations.
  • Experience with PIO, PDI, campaign management, and vehicle quality processes
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and vehicle tracking systems.
Education & Experience
