Position Overview
Motorsport Network is looking for a data-driven and entrepreneurial FP&A Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our lean and fast-paced finance team. Reporting to the Global Director of Accounting, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in high-growth startups and a passion for making sense of complex data in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
Support the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans
Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate business performance and growth opportunities
Conduct monthly variance analysis, identifying key trends and drivers of financial performance
Assist with the preparation of internal reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and investors
Analyze and report on cost center performance across departments
Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc financial analysis, business cases, and scenario modeling
Help streamline and scale FP&A processes as the business grows
Collaborate with accounting and business operations to ensure data integrity and alignment
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor performance, and operational benchmarks
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or similar analytical role; with at least one year at a startup or high-growth environment
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; familiarity with planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Google Sheets, or similar) is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and structure
Ability to present financial data clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Passion for media, automotive, motorsports, or digital content is a plus
Compensation
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $75,000-$120,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation package also includes the medical, dental, and vision and an unlimited PTO plan a 401(k) with employer match.
