Position Overview
Motorsport Network is looking for a data-driven and entrepreneurial FP&A Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our lean and fast-paced finance team. Reporting to the Global Director of Accounting, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in high-growth startups and a passion for making sense of complex data in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans

• Prepare and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate business performance and growth opportunities

• Conduct monthly variance analysis, identifying key trends and drivers of financial performance

• Assist with the preparation of internal reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and investors

• Analyze and report on cost center performance across departments

• Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc financial analysis, business cases, and scenario modeling

• Help streamline and scale FP&A processes as the business grows

• Collaborate with accounting and business operations to ensure data integrity and alignment

• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor performance, and operational benchmarks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or similar analytical role; with at least one year at a startup or high-growth environment

• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; familiarity with planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Google Sheets, or similar) is a plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail and structure

• Ability to present financial data clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders

• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

• Passion for media, automotive, motorsports, or digital content is a plus

Compensation
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $75,000-$120,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation package also includes the medical, dental, and vision and an unlimited PTO plan a 401(k) with employer match.
