Job summary

American Airlines is seeking an Analyst/Sr Analyst for Distribution Product Development at our Fort Worth, TX location. You’ll test and validate enhancements to Group Booking tools, including GNS and JGMT, and support booking workflows across multiple markets.

You’ll lead testing efforts, develop test scripts, collaborate with vendors, and coordinate SIT/UAT and release validation, while building product expertise and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 years related Airline/Reservations/Sales experience
• 2 years Project Management and/or Product Development experience
• Experience with Agile, product ownership, project planning and delivery

Responsibilities

• Provides testing support across project phases from small to large initiatives.
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves issues from agencies, integrators, partners, and vendors.
• Develops test scripts, conducts iterative testing with developers, supports SIT/UAT and defect tracking.
• Maintains documents and tracking artifacts with business stakeholders.
• Prepares periodic reports on testing status.
• Develops product subject matter expertise.
• Troubleshoots issues and prioritizes fixes and minor enhancements.

You’ll be responsible for supporting and testing platform enhancements for our Group Booking tools including our Group Navigation System (GNS) and Group Management Tool (JGMT) and related booking and ticketing workflows.

In this role, your responsibilities include managing testing and release activities for existing and new market implementations. You will serve as a subject matter expert on group booking processes, points of sale, points of commencement, booking sources, and fulfillment channels working directly with our third-party vendors.

What you'll do

• Provides testing assistance with all phases of program and project activities that range from small to large and vary in scope.
• Helps identify, analyze, and resolve issues raised by agencies, integrators, business partners, and vendors, and supports production issue management and escalation activities.
• Plays a key role in developing test scripts and scenarios, conducting iterative testing with developers, and supporting SIT, UAT, release validation, and defect tracking across booking flows, countries, languages, and currencies.
• Maintains and updates various documents and tracking artifacts, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Prepares reports on project testing status.
• Develops product subject matter expertise.
• Helps troubleshoot technical issues and prioritize defect fixes and small enhancements among larger feature efforts.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• 3 years related Airline/Reservations/Sales experience
• 2 years Project Management and/or Product Development experience
• Experience with Agile, product ownership, project planning and delivery

• Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
• Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrated through experience developing and growing internal, external and cross-functional relationships

• Knowledge of Sabre PSS, Airline, Contact Center, GDS and NDC
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven ability to lead teams, set priorities and manage day-to-day evolution of product(s)
• Must be well organized and detail oriented
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environment
