Analyst / Senior Analyst, IP Dispute Resolution (Financial Expert Practice)

The Senior Analyst in the Financial Expert practice works on a wide range of dispute engagements, determining intellectual property damages such as lost profits, price erosion, unjust enrichment, and reasonable royalty. Projects span numerous product lines and industries, ensuring each case is unique. Responsibilities include financial analysis, modeling, research, report writing, client meetings, depositions, trials, and participation in firm activities such as recruiting and practice development.

Responsibilities

• Creating complex financial models on client businesses and products
• Performing in-depth market and competitive research in a variety of industries
• Writing reports, presentations, and other materials
• Preparing PowerPoint presentation materials
• Attending client meetings and teleconferences
• Reviewing and synthesizing financial, marketing, and other documents
• Critiquing opposing parties' claims

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
• 1+ years experience in litigation consulting or intellectual property valuation (IP and litigation consulting experience preferred but not required)
• Academic success – high cumulative GPA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude and client presence
• CPA or CFA candidates a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Superior attention to detail
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility
• Solid analytical skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
