1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. is seeking a collaborative and curious Analyst, Reporting & Analytics to support our Enterprise Customer Care organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building meaningful dashboards, troubleshooting reporting issues, and uncovering the “why” behind the numbers.

You will join a highly collaborative analytics team that supports business leaders and stakeholders through recurring reporting, dashboard development, data investigation, and actionable insights. The successful candidate will bring strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, and a natural “data detective” mindset.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and distribute recurring reports while ensuring data is accurate and delivered on time.
• Troubleshoot report, dashboard, and table-update issues.
• Build new dashboards and enhance existing dashboards based on business needs.
• Use SQL to query, investigate, and analyze data.
• Perform reporting and dashboard development primarily within Sigma.
• Work with data stored in Snowflake, the team’s primary data warehouse.
• Investigate discrepancies across reports, teams, and data sources.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to determine why conflicting numbers or reporting issues are occurring.
• Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Partner with analysts, senior analysts, leadership, and Enterprise Customer Care stakeholders.
• Balance recurring reporting responsibilities with ongoing analytics projects.
• Clearly communicate findings and help stakeholders understand the story behind the data.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on SQL experience.
• Experience creating, maintaining, or enhancing dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency with a business intelligence or data visualization tool.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Understanding of databases, data warehouses, and reporting structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to troubleshoot data and reporting issues with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborative, team-oriented working style.
• Curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to dig into data to find answers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sigma or a comparable BI platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• VBA experience.
• Experience reconciling conflicting data across multiple reports or sources.
• Creative, outside-the-box approach to solving reporting and analytics challenges.
• Experience supporting customer care, operations, or other business stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

The strongest candidate will be a technically capable and collaborative analyst who can move beyond simply producing reports. You will be comfortable investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, communicating what the data means, and helping stakeholders make informed decisions.

Direct Sigma experience is not required. Candidates with strong SQL skills and transferable experience using Power BI, Tableau, or another dashboard platform.

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually, which will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
