JOB OVERVIEW

The Repair Analystis responsible foran managing the end-to-end repair cycle in support of FTAI’s MRO/MRE operations — creating and managing Repair Orders, driving vendor performance, and ensuring repairable assets return to serviceable condition on time and at target cost. This role serves a central pointof contact between Repairs, Operations, and the repair vendor network,maintaining accurate records, tracking turnaround time (TAT), and escalating risks before they affect parts availability.

Because the Supply Chain organization encompasses both Repairs and Procurement, the Repair Analyst is also expected to support purchasing activity and other ad hoc initiatives as business needs shift, working alongside Procurement Analysts to protect continuity of material supply. Keyobjectivesinclude increased assetutilization, reduced turnaround time, inventory optimization, and improved financial performance. The Analyst leverages repair and inventory management tools and data insights to recommend solutions and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities:
Repairs (primary focus)
  • Create, manage, and close Repair Orders, ensuring accuracy of scope, pricing, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs with vendors and internal stakeholders, from removal through return to serviceable stock.
  • Monitor repair job progress to ensure timely completion, and escalate delays, quote discrepancies, and scope changes as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of repair orders, turnaround time (TAT), and cost estimates.
  • Review and challenge vendor quotes; evaluate buy-versus-repair and scrap-versus-repair decisions to identify the most cost-effective, timely outcome.
  • Track and analyze repair costs and TAT performance to support accurate billing, cost control, and vendor scorecards.
  • Maintain and develop the repair vendor network, supporting capability reviews, qualification , and performance management.
  • Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding repair status, timelines, and updates, including participation in production and material management meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory and traceability requirements.
Purchasing and Ad Hoc Supply Chain Support
  • Support purchasing activity as assigned, including sourcing parts and supplies, performing price comparisons, and placing purchase orders.
  • Partner with Procurement Analysts to resolve material shortages and identify the fastest, most cost-effective path to parts availability.
  • Support inventory management and maintainappropriate Min/Max levels aligned with MRE Operations.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and risk assessments to evaluate repair and sourcing decisions and supply chain projects.
  • Provide coverage and surge support across the Supply Chain organization during peak workload, absences, or special projects.
  • Complete other ad hoc assignments, reporting, and analysis in support of Supply Chain objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in repair workflows, supply chain systems, processes, and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain , Business, Operations, or related field; equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of repair, MRO, maintenance, or supply chain experience, including experience leading a team, projects, or others in a formal or informal capacity.
  • Demonstrated success managing vendor performance, turnaround time, and repair or service costs.
  • Strong understanding of repair processes, parts sourcing, and typical associated documentation.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills; comfort working in ERP and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound commercial judgment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities andmaintainprofessionalism in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, or another regulated technical environment; familiarity with enginecomponentrepair, CFM56/V2500, or MRO operations.
  • Direct people-management experience, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Experience using Quantum.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret technical manuals and repair specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards related to repair operations.
  • Understanding of supply chain and procurement concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixedorganization.
  • Track record of implementing process or system improvements within a repair or supply chain function.
Job Demands:

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
