Job summary

Harry Winston seeks an Analyst, Product Development to support custom client orders through estimations, project management and cost analysis. You will organize designs, track data and prepare presentations for cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3+ years in product development, strong Excel skills and excellent communication. You will collaborate with management and other departments to ensure accurate estimates and timely delivery.

Job description

The Analyst, Product Development will facilitate project estimations and inquiries for custom client orders related to the Product Development department. Functions include project management, cost estimate analysis, reporting, and creating presentations. Aspects of these functions relate to operational and technical system processes, product coordination, and communication with cross-functional departments.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Organizing approved designs and project information
• Maintaining up to date information in project tracking files
• Communication with cross-functional departments to obtain and submit project estimates
• Answering client requests / inquiries and providing estimates for custom orders
• Compiling data: product specifications / costs / certificates from current stock and historical projects
• Documenting product specifications - ex: counting and measuring stones from design files
• Creating Estimate Presentations and ad-hoc reports
• Coordinating copyright process of completed items
• Creation of new Item Cards for client orders in company-wide inventory management system

Job Qualifications

• 3+ years prior Product Development and/or experience with fine jewelry or luxury branded product
• Self-motivated and detail oriented, with a strong drive for organization
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; skill assessment test will be required for candidates
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and communicate with management
• Excellent Project Management skills that entail preparing and working through the detailed steps associated with developing products with cross-functional team members to achieve both short and long term objectives
