Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an Analytics Professional to analyze business trends and present opportunities for improvements that support customer and sales objectives. The role collaborates with internal teams and external customers to drive results tied to distribution KPIs and reporting requirements.

The position involves meetings with sales, procurement, and vendor partners to identify, track, and manage projects and KPI performance, including pricing and contract terms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years of analysis experience.
  • High school diploma with 5+ years of analysis experience.
  • Strong Excel and data-reporting skills to identify trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop relationships with customers, sales teams, and vendor partners.
  • Lead meetings on behalf of the customer, such as value analysis committees.
  • Meet with vendors to discuss products, pricing and terms.
  • Present findings to procurement contacts and KPI stakeholders.
  • Analyze trends and KPI performance for pricing and inventory.
  • Support sales by managing contract terms, brand conversions, and project savings.
  • Prepare and present project updates and committee findings.
  • Review pricing for discrepancies and ensure new rules are approved.
  • Coordinate issue resolution across inventory, backorders, and invoices.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, analyze and present business related trends and results to identify opportunities for improvement/solutions in support of the customer and sales organization. Work with internal and external customers to drive results tied to defined distribution metrics and reporting requirements. Meet with sales and the customer to identify, prioritize, track and manage projects and KPI performance.

Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create, maintain, and develop relationships with the customer, sales teams, and vendor community.
  • Lead/participate in various meetings on behalf of customer (ex. value analysis committee).
  • Meet with vendors to discuss products, pricing and terms.
  • Present findings to key contacts in the customer’s procurement team.
  • Measure the trends, efficiencies and effectiveness of the overall pricing and inventory KPIs.
  • Support sales team by managing contract terms, assisting with brand conversions, and tracking all savings and projects.
  • Make presentations regarding project updates, business results, committee findings, etc.
  • Review pricing to determine and identify discrepancies.
  • Ensure new pricing rules are reviewed and approved by respective sales teams.
  • Provide issue resolution in the following areas (not limited to): inventory surplus, backorders, outstanding invoices.
  • Initiate and partner with the internal teams.
  • Communicate resolution in a timely manner.
  • Host weekly meetings with supply chain, materials services, and Medline Sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, IS and Finance to develop, create and maintain reporting requirements and ensure systems provide accurate and timely data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in analysis and support
  • High School Diploma and at least 5 years of experience in analysis and support
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within, and external to, an organization.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
  • Strong communication and business acumen skills
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Sales Analytics experience
  • Previous analytics experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Previous inventory or supply chain analytics experience.
  • Experience providing training and developing process documentation/user manuals.
