Job summary

XPO, Inc. is hiring a Pricing Analyst in Ann Arbor, MI, offering a hybrid work model. The role focuses on reviewing contracts, pricing strategies, and detailed costing to drive revenue optimization across the LTL unit.

The candidate will perform price/tariff analysis, develop pricing options for negotiations, and support cost control efforts with cross-department partners. Relevant analytics skills and exposure to SQL/statistical tools are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work or military experience
• 1 year of experience in quantitative analysis
• Ability to use computer-generated decision support modeling
• Ability to collaborate with Pricing team leadership to establish and implement pricing strategy and tactical plan
• Ability to perform critical quantitative evaluation and make recommendations
• Ability to perform cost/revenue analysis based on input from several departments

Responsibilities

• Review pricing and understand contract and tariff applications
• Perform detailed costing analysis and develop pricing options for Sales team negotiations
• Conduct revenue management and cost analysis for new and existing customers; review shipping patterns to identify opportunities for increased yields and reduced costs
• Request customer profiles and update cost model accordingly
• Understand and utilize the Base V auto rating system and its inputs and limitations
• Identify rating problems and initiate resolutions to ensure correct invoicing and timely quotes
• Set up Off Bill Incentive (OBI) programs

What you’ll need to succeed as a Pricing Analyst XPO

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work or military experience

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Review pricing and understand contract and tariff applications

• Perform detailed costing analysis and develop pricing options to present to the Sales team for customer negotiations; use different pricing scenarios to rate shipments and compare net results

• Conduct revenue management and cost analysis for new and existing customers; review shipping patterns and characteristics to identify opportunities for increased yields, improved network density and reduced costs

• Request customer profiles and update cost model accordingly

• Understand and utilize the Base V auto rating system, including inputs, capabilities and limitations

• Identify rating problems and initiate resolutions to ensure correct invoicing; provide answers and quotes for requests promptly

• Perform initial setup of Off Bill Incentive (OBI) programs
