Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and user-focused PLM Business & Systems Analyst to serve as the critical bridge between our product development teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain) and our technical IT developers. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of PLM configurations to propose system-based solutions to complex business problems. You will be responsible for translating intricate business needs into clear IT deliverables, mapping cross-system workflows, and driving user adoption. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver who can navigate risk-averse environments and advocate for a "data-first" culture, ensuring our product data is structured for future analytics and seamless enterprise integration.

Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis & Workflow Optimization: Partner with stakeholders to translate complex needs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs). Map cross-system processes spanning PLM and SAP, and integrate global compliance regulations into workflows. Conduct system testing and communicate system changes as tangible end-user benefits.
  • Data Governance & Lifecycle Management: Enforce master data management (MDM) rules, define ETL data mapping requirements, and translate end-of-life and archiving requirements into actionable system rules. Partner with Data Stewards to prioritize data cleansing efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Change Management: Act as the "bilingual" bridge between IT and business teams. Drive user adoption by updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and advocate for a "data-first" culture to prepare for future AI utilization.
  • Project Management & Execution: Manage project plans for system enhancements, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and consistently deliver high-quality system enhancements, test scripts, and process maps on schedule.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience acting as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Owner for enterprise PLM, ERP, or R&D systems (e.g., Dassault, Siemens, Centric, SAP PLM, Veeva).
  • Experience writing comprehensive BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles, ETL mapping, and system validation processes (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in gathering requirements, system implementation, and end-to-end software testing.
  • Understanding of the Product Development lifecycle and how product data feeds into downstream supply chain systems (e.g., understanding SAP terms like ROH, HALB, WIP, SKU).
  • Familiarity with data governance principles, ETL mapping, and system validation processes (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Capable of developing efficient, scalable solutions to complex historical process issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to mediate between highly technical and non-technical groups.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of driving change and enforcing data rules diplomatically without direct authority.
