CVS Health is seeking a mission‑driven outreach specialist to help Medicaid and Medicare members maximize benefits and improve health outcomes. You will respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and in writing, supporting HEDIS data collection and regulatory initiatives.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data handling, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor's preferred, and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ member outreach, health care marketing, and/or other health education experience.
• 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
• 1+ years of experience working with data
• Ability to work independently with a high attention to details
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years’ experience using MS Office Suite: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel

Position Summary

Coordinates member outreach to ensure effective use of health plan benefits, ensure member receipt of important clinical services, and to improve member health outcomes within the Medicaid or Medicare population. Responds to member inquiries in person, via telephone, and in writing. Provides support for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) quality initiatives and regulatory and contractual requirements including outreach to members who are noncompliant in the designated outreach services. Supports effective medical record capture for HEDIS medical record review and abstraction of supplemental data.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years’ member outreach, health care marketing, and/or other health education experience
• 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
• 1+ years of experience working with data
• Ability to work independently with a high attention to details
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• 2+ years’ experience using personal computer, keyboard navigation, navigating multiple systems and applications; and using MS Office Suite applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Education

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $36.78

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
