Job summary

AMC Global Media is seeking an Analyst, Media Prep to join the Media Operations & Engineering team in New York, NY. You will serve as the main liaison with AMC Networks B&T to ensure content passes QC and is ready for any reformatting version needed.

You will create placeholders, coordinate with scheduling and acquisition on delivery timelines, review assets after QC, issue work orders for captioning proxies and VOD, and perform discovery on asset availability for inventory and budget purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in media or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in digital video and audio specifications.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Main liaison with AMC B&T to ensure all content passes quality control and is ready for reformatting versions.
• Create placeholders and facilitate all aspects of material delivery (video files, caption files, audio description files).
• Coordinate with scheduling and acquisition team on delivery timelines and QC expectations/priorities.
• Review assets that have gone through QC and facilitate redelivery if needed, ensuring materials meet technical specs.
• Create work orders for captioning proxies, fixes, conforms, and VOD as needed.
• Perform discovery on asset availability for inventory and budget purposes.
