Job description

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our New York City office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

The Points Guy is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Analyst to oversee the full lifecycle of advertising on our platform. In this role, you will serve as the critical link between sold media campaigns and live campaign delivery, ensuring that every campaign is launched accurately, paced appropriately, and concluded on schedule. This is a highly cross-functional position that requires both operational rigor and the ability to build scalable processes in a dynamic media environment. You will work on high-impact projects that directly influence business outcomes, with the opportunity to own complex, ambiguous problems from initial approach through final recommendation.

A key dimension of this role is a forward-thinking approach to artificial intelligence. The Analyst will be expected to actively integrate AI tools into day-to-day workflows and serve as an internal champion for AI adoption across the broader organization, helping teams identify opportunities to work more efficiently and intelligently.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage end-to-end QA, launch, and takedown of all custom ad units across The Points Guy

  • Lead the implementation and adoption of AI tooling across ad operations, establishing best practices, training team members, and ensuring new tools are embedded effectively into existing processes

  • Oversee QA, launch, pacing, and takedown of all ROS and 100% Share of Voice display media campaigns

  • Execute and QA link wrapping across campaigns to ensure accurate tracking and attribution

  • Partner with sales, editorial, and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and in accordance with established specifications

  • Develop and implement scalable, automated workflows that reduce manual effort and minimize the risk of launch errors

  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate AI-powered tools into ad operations workflows to increase efficiency, reduce error rates, and accelerate campaign turnaround times

  • Serve as an internal thought leader and resource on AI adoption, partnering with teams across the business to identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation efforts

  • Own projects that involve solving complex, ambiguous problems—defining the right approach, executing against it, and delivering clear recommendations

  • Take ownership of your work and proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology, data, and innovative thinking to improve outcomes

  • Translate data and campaign findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders across the business

What We’re Looking For

  • Entrepreneurial mindset — demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, exercise sound judgment independently, and establish clear processes where none previously existed

  • Strong problem-solving skills — proven ability to navigate ambiguity and structure a path forward on undefined or complex challenges

  • Exceptional attention to detail — a consistent track record of accuracy across high-volume, deadline-driven workstreams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to analyze, synthesize, and communicate insights effectively, aligning stakeholders and surfacing issues proactively

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives — proven experience prioritizing effectively and executing across several campaigns simultaneously without compromising quality

  • Experience working with data — familiarity with SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools to analyze and interpret campaign and business data

  • Minimum of one year of hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager — including trafficking, targeting, and campaign troubleshooting

  • Demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technologies — hands-on experience preferred, along with genuine curiosity about how data and AI can drive better decisions and business outcomes

  • A proactive, scrappy, and self-motivated mindset — energized by fast-paced, performance-driven environments
