Job summary

ICE Futures U.S., Inc. invites a full-time Analyst to join its Market Regulation team in Chicago, Illinois.

You will investigate trading activity in energy, agricultural, and financial futures and options, enforcing Exchange rules and CFTC regulations while providing guidance to market participants. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Math, or Juris Doctorate, with strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with futures markets, and the ability to work

Responsibilities

• Develop substantive knowledge of Exchange’s rules and CFTC regulations.
• Stay informed on relevant Federal regulations, policy and developments.
• Develop knowledge of commodity markets, particularly energy, financial and agricultural markets.
• Monitor the relation between cash commodity fundamentals and the futures market.
• Work with large, complex data sets.
• Research data from real time and post trade systems to identify abnormalities or potential rule violations.
• Document detailed analyses of trading activity.
• Conduct investigations of potential rule violations and draft investigative reports.
• Build relationships with market participants and provide guidance on Exchange rules.
• Improve processes to find efficiencies and collaborate on technology.

New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $70,000 - 90,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances. Illinois Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $60,000 - 80,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
