Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (or have had one within the past two years).
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a professional services or client-facing environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset for ambiguous, fast-paced client environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of high-quality client-facing deliverables.
• Support the design, coordination, and logistics of internal and external meetings.
• Own knowledge capture during client meetings; co-facilitate meetings as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Support the development of high-quality client-facing deliverables
• Support the design, coordination, and logistics of internal and external meetings
• Own knowledge capture responsibility during internal and external client meetings; occasionally co-facilitate internal and external client meetings
• Support and/or lead research, data gathering, and analysis to inform the development of client recommendations and solutions; clearly synthesize and present results
• Contribute to proposal development efforts
• Showcase critical thinking skills to evaluate needs, make initial recommendations, and partner with team members to refine thinking and approaches to client challenges
• Gain a fundamental understanding of change management consulting and The Clearing's methods, techniques, and tools

Requirements

• Flexible and adaptable mindset to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-stakes client environments
• Desired skills, experiences, and certifications: change management, strategic planning, strategic communication, program management, and/or organizational design experience; PMP and/or Change Management certification (ex., Prosci)

Compensation

The projected annual salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000. Actual compensation and starting salaries are determined by various factors, including the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, clearance level, and internal equity. Once at The Clearing, movement through pay bands is based on performance. Base annual salary is just one component of The Clearing’s total compensation philosophy and approach. Physical And Mental Requirements

While performing duties of this job, an employee may be required to perform any, or all of the following: attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively); occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; communicate effectively (both orally and in writing); ability to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment; and occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work is primarily sedentary and involves sitting for several hours at a time. Occasionally walking, climbing stairs, and standing occur in this role.
