FlightSafety International is seeking an Integrated Project Scheduler to develop and maintain master schedules for multiple projects, integrating program management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and test activities.

Responsibilities include creating and updating schedules with MS Project, determining task logic and milestones, coordinating with program managers weekly, and supporting EV reporting and schedule performance metrics.

Purpose of Position

Maintain responsibility for developing and maintaining master schedules for multiple projects. Integration of all program activities, including program management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and test activities.


Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for development, creation, and maintenance of integrated schedules using MS Project for use by project team members, Program Management, Department Managers, and Leadership.

  • Plan with Program management and Department Managers to determine desired project schedule tasks and milestones, including task logic, dependencies, material/work resources, resource levels, and durations to ensure a valid critical path for a schedule.

  • Develop, Maintain, and Update enterprise schedule templates.

  • Coordinate with Program Management on a weekly basis to insure the most up-to-date schedules.

  • Support and advise the Program Management Office on schedule performance, forecasts, and risks.

  • Establish and communicate scheduling processes and procedures to all schedule stakeholders and participants.

  • Responsible for developing, updating and maintaining schedule performance metrics and related management tools within the business unit.

  • Maintain data validity and the integration between the schedule and the program work.

  • Understand Earned Value Management concepts and support the organization’s internal and external EV reporting requirements.

  • Provide training for Program Managers, Resources Managers, and Resources as needed.

  • Support and assist Integrated Project Scheduler as needed.


Minimum Education

Associates degree in Business preferred


Minimum Experience

Two (2) years’ experience

  • Must be able to learn and understand engineering and manufacturing processes.

  • MS Project 2010, MS Project 2013 a plus. Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
