We are seeking to expand our team with an enthusiastic, highly motivated, self-reliant, and professional Technical Implementation Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Amherst, New Hampshire.

As a Technical Implementation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in configuring, deploying, and integrating our software solutions for clients. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will ensure the successful implementation and smooth execution of projects, ultimately leading to customer satisfaction. This role requires an understanding of software systems, outstanding organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand their business processes, and determine optimal technical solutions.
  • Design and configure software systems based on client needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing of software configurations, identifying and resolving any technical issues or compatibility concerns.
  • Develop implementation plans, project timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams throughout the implementation process, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex implementation challenges, coordinate data conversions and integrations, and ensure a smooth transition to production.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the implementation process and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Document implementation processes, technical specifications, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Assist in training end-users on software functionalities, offering guidance and support to maximize their understanding and utilization of the system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
  • Address stakeholder concerns or feedback related to technical implementation, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Illustrate best practices and industry standards for technical implementation, emphasizing the importance of adherence to quality, security, and compliance requirements. Lead by example in demonstrating efficient workflows and practical problem-solving strategies.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance to new hires as they navigate their roles and responsibilities within the implementation team. Be available to address challenges, provide feedback, and offer coaching to help them grow and develop professionally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 + years of proven experience in technical implementations, preferably in a software company or IT consulting environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and enterprise software applications, including system architecture, databases, and data relationships.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL) and data integration concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality implementations and meeting project deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous learning mindset and a drive for professional growth.
Work Environment
  • This position is performed primarily in an office environment with a moderate noise level. Duties require regular use of a computer, telephone, and related technology, including periodic testing and configuration of payment processing devices.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
  • Requires frequent use of a computer and standard office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telephones. The position also involves regular participation in virtual meetings, presentations, and customer interactions through Teams and other collaboration platforms.
