California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) seeks an Analyst III as Special Assistant to the Deputy Director in OEHM, stationed at HQ Elk Grove. You will handle high-level analyses, provide senior management with strategic recommendations, and coordinate cross-cutting OEHM issues.
Hybrid telework is offered; candidate must reside in California and be prepared to report to the office as needed. Position code 065-545-5402-003, 8:00am–5:00pm, Mon–Fri.
Additional duties as described: Under the direction of the Deputy Director (DD), Office of Employee Health Management (OEHM), the Analyst III, performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical managerial and analytical assignments. As the Special Assistant to the DD, the Analyst III functions as a high-level subject matter expert responsible for reviewing, interpreting and providing senior management with recommendations on the more sensitive, complex and cross-cutting OEHM issues.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process.
