Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation seeks an Analyst II PPIS to help plan, coordinate, and schedule production activities ensuring timely product flow from receipt of orders to shipment. This role collaborates with production, procurement, quality and logistics teams and supports inventory management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background in production planning, scheduling, or inventory coordination.
• Experience supporting forecasting and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proven problem-solving and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating production schedules based on orders, materials, and capacity.
• Monitor schedule progress and inform teams of changes.
• Support forecasting and capacity planning activities as needed.
• Maintain records of WIP, fixtures, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely material replenishment.
• Plan shipment schedules aligned with production completion dates.
• Collaborate with logistics to optimize delivery schedules.
• Contribute to Lean and process-improvement initiatives.
