Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Energy and Planning Analyst based in Salisbury, NC, with a flexible hybrid schedule (3 in-person days, 2 remote days) to support ESG and energy compliance programs across ADUSA locations.

You will perform statistical modelling, energy forecasting, and reporting using Excel and Power BI, collaborating with multiple Brands to track Net Zero progress and respond to data requests.

Qualifications

Overview

The Energy and Planning Analyst will perform various analyses and deliver reporting and responses to data requests related to the Race to Zero, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and energy compliance programs of all ADUSA locations. Individual will create energy consumption forecasts applying historical and current data.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. This position is based in our office located in Salisbury, NC.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical modelling including (population and forecasting)
• Responsible for tracking Net Zero emissions progress
• Perform state and local ordinance reporting to meet compliance
• Support GHG and ESG reporting required by Health & Sustainability
• Conducts scenario calculations for proposed carbon reduction projects
• Provide ad hoc analyses and information to help support various aspects of energy usage and other internal Brands' requests
• Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Business, or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience analyzing high volumes of data
• Must be highly proficient in Excel, Power BI
• Ability to prepare reports, manage data, and analyze results
• Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
• Detail oriented including the ability to manage priorities and workflow on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous statistical and forecasting modelling experience
• High level technical skills preferred (Python)
• Experience building and managing databases

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $63,440-$95,160
