Qualifications

Job Summary/Purpose

The Consumer & Advocacy Programs Analyst will lead continuous improvement, automation, targeted customer outreach and research that will increase the volume and flow of available assistance dollars and help empower Entergy’s low-income customers to achieve economic security. The role is responsible for developing strategies that will produce financial outcomes and overseeing progress towards goals.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

1. Research assigned portions of a project, documents sources and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure relevancy.

2. Recognizes data inconsistencies and irregularities and reports issues to senior analysts.

3. Supports the review of functions and structures of business areas to avoid overlap and duplication.

4. Documents analyses using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.

5. Performs quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale.

6. Works within the scope and framework of larger projects defined by senior analysts.

7. Provide support to CAP programs which might include assisting with administrative tasks.

8. Support outreach events and charitable program tasks (e.g., donation receipts and partner coordination for customer/employee giving).

9. Collaborate with team members and community organizations to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance service delivery to low-income customers.

10. Agency relationship management (state and local community action agencies) as well as proactive stakeholder engagement.

Minimum education required of the position
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience. Desired: Master's Degree.
Minimum experience required of the position
  • 2-4 years of professional experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
  • Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
