Job summary

CVS Health seeks a finance professional to support Medicare Part D accounting. The role prepares and reviews entries to the general ledger, interprets financial reports, and distributes statements.

Position Summary

• This role is supporting Medicare Part D.
• Prepare and review accounting entries posted to the general ledger to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Review and interpret accounting/financial reports and propose necessary changes to management.
• Compile and distribute financial statements and related information.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting financial statement schedules.
• Provide information and assistance to support various audits.
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations.
• Prepare the weekly/monthly payments.

Required Qualifications

• 0-1 years of finance or accounting experience (school or internships do count)
• Microsoft Office experience, especially with Microsoft Excel
• Must be willing to work 8:30 AM-5:30 PM EDT.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Medicare Part D.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Required (Accounting or Finance preferred).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $93,574.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
