Job summary

ASICS America Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking an Analyst, Financial Planning to support monthly and quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, MTP, and financial analysis for the global organization. You will assist management with consolidations, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses, leveraging Excel and SAP/BPC to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

The role requires solid accounting and financial planning knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage large data sets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience as a Financial Analyst or similar position required.
• Experience with SAP and BPC preferred.
• Intermediate-level experience using Microsoft Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and quarterly financial information including Sales, MRP, Disclosure, IR, MTPs, and Forecast Reports, from the group companies.
• Analyze actual vs. budget vs. last year variances for sales, expense, and balance sheet accounts for AHQ and external auditors reporting.
• Prepare category reports and analyze variances related to Sales, GP, SGA, Inventory and MOH.
• Assist in completing information for Global Executive Meetings and Board Meetings.
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the group financial & reporting workflow.

A Brief Overview

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Analyst, Financial Planning supports financial reporting on actuals, budgeting, forecasting, MTP, and financial analysis for ASICS' group companies. This role provides support to the management team on consolidations, updating presentations, and performing ad-hoc financial analysis, with regular visibility into materials prepared for Global Executive and Board meetings. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and SAP/BPC to support accurate, timely financial reporting across a global organization.

What You'll Do

• Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and quarterly financial information including Sales, MRP, Disclosure, IR, MTPs, and Forecast Reports, from the group companies.
• Analyze actual vs. budget vs. last year variances for sales, expense, and balance sheet accounts for AHQ and external auditors reporting.
• Prepare category reports and analyze variances related to Sales, GP, SGA, Inventory and MOH.
• Assist in completing information for Global Executive Meetings and Board Meetings.
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the group financial & reporting workflow.
• Gathers competitors’ and other ASICS regions financial data from 10-Q & 10-K reports including transcripts for analysis.
• Uploads and distributes the actual, forecasted & budgeted exchange rates to BPC (BRL, CAD, MXN, ARS, CLP, PEN, and COP).
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures

• Solid knowledge of general accounting and financial planning processes.
• Knowledge in Excel functions and modeling, including the use of pivot tables and macros for financial analysis.

SALARY / PAY RANGE

$70,304 - $72,000
