Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries

  • Ensure monthly close deadlines are met
  • Support the monthly outlook and annual budget process
  • Maintain and update financial models to reflect current business conditions
  • Review financial statements and perform account reconciliations
  • Analyze financial statement activity and summarize for business unit and accounting management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and policy compliance
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects
  • Help and coordinate other duties as required

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Financial Analyst within our Accounting Department group based in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly accruals and journal entries
  • Preparing monthly close schedulesand variance reports
  • Ensuring monthly close deadlines and responsibilities are met
  • Supporting the monthly outlook and annual budget process
  • Maintaining and updating financial models to reflect current business conditions
  • Reviewing financial statements and performing account reconciliations
  • Analyzing financial statement activityand summarizing for business unit and accounting management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and policy compliance
  • Assisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects
  • Helping and coordinating other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
