White & Case is seeking an Analyst, Finance Transformation to assist with AI-enabled tool rollout, testing, and adoption across the Finance function. You will work with teams to identify use cases, document requirements, support user testing, and develop training materials promoting responsible AI use.
The role requires understanding of accounting, AP, cash applications, and billing, with experience in workflow tools, RPA, or generative AI.
Our Finance team is responsible for ensuring accurate financial operations and plays a crucial role in managing the Firm’s financial health. Our team handles a wide range of financial activities including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, partner compensation, payroll, treasury and cash flow management to support the Firm’s strategic goals. We are responsible for inventory management including billing and collections, and analysis of client, matter and timekeeper profitability. We oversee statutory accounting and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. The Finance team also prepares financial statements, reports and analysis to provide insights into the Firm’s financial performance. We work closely with other functions to monitor expenses, optimize financial processes and implement cost‑saving initiatives. Through meticulous financial management and strategic planning, the Finance team ensures the Firm’s financial stability and supports its growth objectives.
The Analyst, Finance Transformation will assist with the rollout, testing, and adoption of AI‑enabled tools and automated processes across the Finance function. This role will work with various teams to help identify practical use cases, document requirements, support user testing, and gather feedback on new tools and process improvements. The position will also help maintain documentation, training materials, and guidance to support responsible use of AI and automation within Finance. The role requires a general understanding of the procedures for handling core finance processes, including but not limited to; accounting, accounts payable, cash applications, and billing. The successful candidate will also have experience with workflow or automation tools, as well as a strong interest in AI and emerging technologies. Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with business users, technology teams, and management.
