Overview

OVERALL: Provide support to the Finance Department with a focus on expenses in preparation of Month End Reporting; Forecast and Budget submissions while reporting to the Finance Director and being mentored by the Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with the Finance Manager to gain an understanding of all personnel costs.
• Track all employee movements (Leavers/Joiners/Transfers) including Open Positions. Will update all Social Charge calculations including payroll taxes, benefits and 401K.
• Responsible for analyzing variances between current and prior forecasts as well as forecast vs YTD actuals.
• Involved in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for Month End Reporting
• Responsible for all aspects of the Research Budget; including monthly journal entries, forecasting and budgeting while interacting with SRG team.
• Maintain Freelancer Budget
• Preparation of Client Profitability reporting; maintain employee allocations, tracking time entry and all other client related costs.
• Support in completing all financial reporting both scheduled and ad hoc.
• Work with and gain knowledge of the several financial databases that are used and updated monthly.
• Assist in preparation of supporting documents for financial audits.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (accounting/finance majors preferred)
• 2-3 years related financial analysis work at a Media/Advertising agency.
• Proficiency with Windows, Excel, SAP and Hyperio
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving, organizational and communication skills required.
• Must be very detail oriented, display a strong work ethic and work within a team structure.

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $71,645 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
