Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Analyst to support environmental compliance and safety programs. You will plan and implement OSHA-compliant policies, lead safety initiatives, and coordinate inspections across campus locations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of EHS experience, with additional certifications (CPR/AED/First Aid) preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of EHS experience.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certificates preferred.
• Self-motivation to work with minimal supervision or in a team.
• Solid research skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement GXO and OSHA policies and programs.
• Advise and lead associates on safety topics.
• Update and maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders and databases.
• Conduct and coordinate inspections, safety and environmental audits.
• Ensure proper training of associates on safety requirements to ensure compliance.
• Conduct safety audits of health and safety programs, procedures and processes.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and preventive measures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Weekend Night Shift, 3 12 hr. days Saturday - Monday, 6:00pm - 6:00am off Tues,Wed Thurs, & Fri

At GXO Logistics, we look for employees who like a challenge and can communicate effectively in all situations. As the Analyst, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), you will provide environmental compliance support.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Plan and implement GXO and OSHA policies and programs
• Advise and lead associates on various safety related topics
• Update and maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders and databases
• Conduct and/or coordinate inspections, safety audits, and environmental audits for campus locations
• Ensure proper training of associates on safety and health requirements and policies to ensure compliance
• Conduct safety audits of health and safety programs, procedures and processes, including but not limited to the Safety Training Observation Program (STOP) and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) process
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes and recommend solutions, improvement opportunities or preventive measures
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of EHS experience

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in safety related field
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certificates
• The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
• Solid research skills
