Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to provide environmental compliance support and lead safety initiatives across campus locations.

The role involves planning and implementing GXO and OSHA policies, guiding associates on safety topics, auditing safety programs, and ensuring training compliance. A Bachelor's degree and 1 year of EHS experience are required; CPR/AED/First Aid certificates are a plus. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of EHS experience.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certificates (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement GXO and OSHA policies and programs.
• Advise and lead associates on various safety related topics.
• Update and maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders and databases.
• Conduct and/or coordinate inspections, safety audits, and environmental audits for campus locations.
• Ensure proper training of associates on safety and health requirements and policies to ensure compliance.
• Conduct safety audits of health and safety programs, procedures and processes, including but not limited to the STOP and BBS processes.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes and recommend solutions, improvement opportunities or preventive measures.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Plan and implement GXO and OSHA policies and programs
• Advise and lead associates on various safety related topics

• Ensure proper training of associates on safety and health requirements and policies to ensure compliance
• Conduct safety audits of health and safety programs, procedures and processes, including but not limited to the Safety Training Observation Program (STOP) and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) process
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes and recommend solutions, improvement opportunities or preventive measures
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of EHS experience

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in safety related field
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certificates
• The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
