CEMEX is seeking an Analyst Digital Tool Americas in Houston to drive procurement process improvements and lead the nationwide implementation of an e-sourcing tool. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier relationships and reduce costs.

You will train staff, monitor tool performance, and maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance. Strong English/Spanish skills and extensive project management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in an environment with strong operational metrics.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement processes.
• Academic background in Engineering, Finance, Civil Engineering, Systems or Administration.
• Master's degree is desirable.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Strategically enhance procurement processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
• Lead the implementation of a cutting-edge e-sourcing tool across all organizational levels within the country, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and develop solutions to enhance procurement operations.
• Conduct training sessions for procurement staff on the utilization of the e-sourcing tool to maximize its benefits.
• Monitor and report on the e-sourcing tool's performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to procurement processes and the e-sourcing tool to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Champion change management initiatives related to the adoption of the e-sourcing tool, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
