Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Analyst & Developer with our client located in San Francisco, CA. The Data Analyst will work in the SBO team to drive business initiatives, understanding our business model and internal processes.

The role emphasizes developing forecasting models, analyzing licensee data, and providing economic analysis to support patent licensing activities, with a focus on data quality and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

• Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills.
• Strong data analysis and finance experience.
• Interest in learning new software applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to ownership over projects and work independently.
• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Require 3-5 years of experience to Assist in the development of long-term revenue forecasts and analysis.
• Lead the development of forecasting models based on market trends, existing licensee sales and new licensee acquisitions.
• Support patent licensing executives by providing relevant analysis and financial information on prospective licensees.
• Process diverse sets of information to provide summary-level insights and recommendations.
• Improve the quality and consistency of data and data management.
• Help identify opportunities for systems and processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and automation.
• Problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations.
• Prepare economic analysis in support of our patent pool engagements by providing analysis of royalty rate and pool structure proposals.
• Develop patent valuation analysis supporting IP business development efforts.

Job Details:

• Pay Range: $45-$52/hr.
