Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a contract Analytics Specialist to support the Global Ecosystems team in Santa Clara. The role focuses on turning raw data into actionable insights through dashboards and reports to guide planning and performance reviews.

The position is onsite for 6 months via Magnit; compensation is hourly and aligned with experience, with no visa sponsorship. Strong Excel, Tableau, SQL and Salesforce experience are preferred.

Qualifications

This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.

Location - Santa Clara- Onsite

Duration - 6 Months

Duties

• Provide analytic data to support our Global Ecosystems team including pipeline analysis, performance against goals, and data modelling for annual planning.
• Convert raw data into well-presented and useful business information, like dashboards and slides, that drives business decisions
• Drive standards of performance and specific activities that align with the predefined success criteria for the partner organization; track and report on these activities to ensure outcomes are on track/met.
• Track regularly the metrics on business performance, deal volume, average discounts, incentives, etc,
• recommend action items for improvement.

Skills

• Excellent analytical skills (5-7 years of experience) with strong attention to detail, experience using reporting and analytics applications preferred; Salesforce preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel & Tableau & SQL
• Advanced skillsets with Tableau dashboarding, or LookerStudio dashboarding
• Experience with Google's G Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in any field or equivalent work experience
• Bachelor's Degree in statistics, analytics.

Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $80/hour to $85/hour. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits. Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K. Magnit is unable to provide any visa sponsorship for this role.
