Job summary

Greystone Servicing Company LLC in Warrenton, Virginia seeks an Analyst for the Custodial Accounting team to assist with bank reconciliations, cash management, and related accounting duties in-person up to five days a week. Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts and ledgers using Microsoft Dynamics BC.
• Obtain balance reports and process wires, transfers, and ACH payments.
• Prepare audit documentation and supporting reports.
• Prepare and analyze internal and external reports.
• Ensure proper opening/closing of custodial bank accounts and filing of documents.
• Update procedures and provide clerical support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an Analyst, for our Custodial Accounting department, to assist the department with bank reconciliations and cash management functions. This position is in-person up to five days a week in our Warrenton, Virginia office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank accounts and ledgers utilizing Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC).
• Utilize on-line banking websites to obtain balance reports and initiate wire, transfers, and ACH transactions.
• Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits
• Prepare and analyze reports.
• Ensure bank accounts are opened and closed as required and that custodial bank documents are prepared and filed in compliance with investor and agency guidelines.
• Update documented procedures.
• Provide some administrative and clerical support including monitoring check log, mailing and scanning documents.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Minimum two years’ experience in accounting or banking operations.
• Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or business management preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar general ledger accounting package.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong reconciliation skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter, dedicated and professional.
• Excellent communication skills.
