Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a Finance Analyst to assist in financial analysis and provide recommendations across divisions. You will support the Guest Contact Center and UPRV through reconciliation of accounts and ensure accurate monthly reporting.

The role involves month-end close duties, processing adjustments, and preparing reports for commissions and vendor payments, with opportunities to participate in ad-hoc projects and EH&S responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • 1+ year of Finance experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic forecasting/budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accuracy of UPRV Financial System; process adjustments, perform month end close duties and provide monthly reporting.
  • Complete routine financial reports to process and pay Travel Agency Commissions and Airline vendor payments.
  • Research vendor payment issues and recommend resolutions; complete miscellaneous billing requests.
  • Complete month-end close duties, including report review and journal entries in SAP.
  • Assist with applicable ad-hoc projects and requests.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per policy and training.

JOB SUMMARY:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain accuracy of UPRV Financial System; process adjustments, perform month end close duties and provide monthly reporting.
  • Complete routine financial reports to process and pay Travel Agency Commissions and Airline vendor payments.
  • Research vendor payment issues and makes recommendations for resolution. Complete miscellaneous billing requests.
  • Complete month-end close duties, including report review and journal entries in SAP.
  • Assist with applicable ad-hoc projects and requests.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
