Job summary

A global fund administration provider is looking for an Associate to support bookkeeping and management account preparation. Responsibilities include analyzing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing statements across GAAPs. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in finance/accounting, up to 5 years of experience, and strong analytical skills. This role values detail orientation and communication, with the flexibility to work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Qualifications involved CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA or specialized in Accounting/Finance.
• 0-5 years of experience in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare bookkeeping and periodic primary statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Analyze bank transactions and process them in accounting platforms.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book‑Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash‑flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements.
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter‑company transactions).
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred).
