Job summary

Theradex Oncology is seeking an Analyst, Contracts and Budgets to support the study startup team in the US. You will draft and negotiate site-specific CTAs, CDAs, and investigator budgets using master templates to ensure timely study initiation.

You will perform financial analyses of protocols and amendments, ensure FMV-compliant terms, maintain contract files, and collaborate with sponsors, internal teams, and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of clinical research contract and budget negotiation experience.
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure agreement terms align with sponsor guidelines and FMV standards.
• Act as the primary contact for clinical sites to resolve contract and budget issues.
• Partner with internal teams, sponsors, and Business Development on proposals and change orders.
• Audit financial and legal text in Informed Consent Forms for accuracy.
• Maintain tracking systems, contract files, and metrics to generate status reports.
• Update site contracting SOPs and perform ad hoc management tasks.

We're looking for an Analyst, Contracts and Budgets to support the study startup team. This role will be responsible for all US clinical site contracting and budgeting activities.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiation: Draft and negotiate site-specific CTAs, CDAs, and investigator budgets using master templates.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze protocols and amendments to build detailed budgets and assess financial impacts.
• Compliance: Ensure agreement terms align with sponsor guidelines and Fair Market Value (FMV) standards.
• Site Liaison: Act as the primary contact for clinical sites to resolve contract and budget issues.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, sponsors, and Business Development on proposals and change orders.
• ICF Review: Audit financial and legal text in Informed Consent Forms for accuracy.
• Data Management: Maintain tracking systems, contract files, and metrics to generate status reports.
• Process Support: Update site contracting SOPs and perform ad hoc management tasks.

What You Need

Level of Education

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting or another business-related field.

Prior Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in clinical research preferred, specifically focused on site contracts and budget negotiation within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or academic medical center.
• Working knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research processes.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000-$105,000. The actual salary offer will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies for the role.

This position is not eligible for relocation or company provided sponsorship.
